Instructions
Preparation
Step 1: Option 1: Night before: Set-up filled Paczki on clean, lined baking pans, two-dozen per pan. Place baking pans onto baking rack and store in the freezer overnight. DO NOT STORE RACK IN THE RETARDER! Option 2: Morning Baker: Set up filled Paczki on clean, lined baking pans: two dozen per pan. Place baking pans onto baking rack. Step 2: Allow frozen Paczki to thaw at room temperature for 2 hours. Step 3: Place thawed Paczki into oven for one minute. DO NOT OVERHEAT! Step 4: Glaze desired Paczki first. Sugar Paczki next. Ice Paczki last. Step 5: Place your finished, filled Paczki into display case. Note: Do not attempt to hurry the thawing process by placing into ovens or proof-boxes. Excessive heat will cause the filling to break down and leak excessively.
